The VISPI (VISible regime Polarimetric Imager) system was used for
breaking-wave analysis in the visible range. Video data was recorded
simultaneously from four CCD cameras at 120 512 x 512 pixel frames per
second and analyzed in near-real-time. Riptide Realtime was responsible for
developing the near-real-time analysis software and integrating it with the
video data recording vendor's software. Riptide delivered the following:
- User interfaces and near-real-time CCD camera
Stokes parameter image processing under Windows NT 4.0
- Hardware for and acceptance testing of the video data
recording system
- Software maintenance, documentation and technical
support
- Debugging and maintenance of 3rd party software
