HVA writes signed 16-bit data to 4 SOR-422 differential data channels
simultaneously at 20MHz per channel, for a combined bandwidth of 80MHz. Actual
performance across the PCIe bus is dependent on the motherboard's bus
implementation, and competition with other bus devices. At 80MHz, all
actuators in a 941-element DM in a 4 chassis system
can be written in about 12us. The board requires a 1x or greater PCIe slot
and the software driver requires a 2.6 Linux kernel. Source code
for the driver is included.
